In the coffee capital of the world, I stick to black tea with lots of cream. I originally hail from the Midwest but have made the West Coast my home. Midwesterners are truly a friendly, happy-go-lucky bunch! I'm an organizer, a doer, and a participator. I’m left-handed and so are both of my kids. With a background in journalism and production, I’ve always been drawn to storytelling and getting to the heart of what makes people tick. My favorite food in the whole world is tomatoes. I eat them every single day. My second favorite food is ice cream. Sadly, I do not eat ice cream every day. Tennis is my obsession. I play on a team and it is an absolute joy in my life. I am a lip balm connoisseur. You’ll never catch me without it and my favorite brand is always changing. I’m a twin mom! This also means I spend an inordinate amount of time carting my kids around to activities. I’d seriously consider camping if it came with a s’mores butler. Give me snow over sand! Fall and winter are my favorite seasons. I love word and number games! We are a household of Sounders fans. Weekends are devoted to soccer! My ideal day? Reading, tennis, time with my family, dinner with friends, and maybe a little reality TV thrown in for good measure (but let’s keep that last part between us). I love champagne, it makes every occasion feel like a party. I am driven to distraction by pretty light.
